Entertainment and Nightlife in Shirdi

The small village that Shirdi once was is transforming speedily into an urban set up, all thanks to the ever-increasing number of pilgrims to the town. Now, Shirdi in Maharashtra is no more just about Sai Baba and his darshan, there's more to it, water parks, multi-cuisine restaurants, coffee houses and pizza and burger outlets are all there in this small town.

Popular Hangouts in Shirdi

Even though there are limited opportunities for fun and entertainment in Shirdi, the water park, coffee house, multi-cuisine restaurants and the pizza joints make up for all that you might want from a tourist place.

Wet n Joy Water Park

Besides the darshan of Sai Baba, there's also an opportunity for the entire family to have some entertainment while on this spiritual journey. There's a "Wet N Joy" water park at a walkable distance from the temple where you can cool off with your entire family and let the children loose. It's also a good way to beat the heat in Shirdi. The water park has some amazing thrill rides such as Cyclone, where a high chute sends you spinning down into a huge water bowl below and the blast, a high ride that takes you through twisted tubes on a air-tube float. Pool for kids, rain dance and photo points are some other attractions of this water park where you can have great time with your family.

Mouthwatering Delicacies

Shirdi is a paradise for food lovers, as there are variety of restaurants all around the temple where you can have delicious meals with your family. From Maharashtrian, South Indian to Continental, restaurants cater to a variety of mouthwatering cuisines to the pilgrims.

Fun over coffee and pizza

Cafe Coffee Day, India's largest chain of coffee house has its outlet in Shirdi as well. This is one place where the young and old can hang out for hours over deep and light conversations. You can even debate over your spirituals beliefs if you want over a hot cup of coffee or a chilled mocha. There's also Dominos Pizza where a large number of young and the children can be seen hanging out in groups.

Unfortunately, being a pilgrimage centre you might not find any pubs or bars in the town. So, a booze lover may get a bit disappointed, but a dry day once in a while is fun as well. The town is a perfect outlet to connect with the divinity.

Taking part in bhajans and kirtans are some of the other night time activities of which you can be a part of.
